Painted Portrait #17

I'm pushing myself to draw more from the imagination and adding my own things rather than just copy other people's work. With this image I watched a movie and liked the scene with the female air-pilot. I didn't like the surroundings and the frame how the actress was presented in the movie (it was too close up frame and I couldn't see the whole face/body/peaked cap In the movie). So I had to gather a lot of supporting reference images to complete my drawing. It was much more difficult and challenging than just copying it as is but still was fun. But certainly took much longer than a normal portrait.
